got a guy local that will sandblast them for me $140, take them home, clean them with some grease, and paint prep, then spray with some self etch and then try out that harbor freight bedliner paint. should have the sliders on by tuesday next week.

Still not a bad deal but before you go that route, go to Harbor Freight and get this: 2 or 3 cans should be more than enough. Same, 2 or 3 cans should me more than enough.

Get some steel wool and some paint thinner and prep everything really good. Make sure you wear gloves to keep your finger oils from getting on things. Once you're satisfied they are ready, prime them. 2 or 3 coats will be plenty. Then just spray them with the bed liner paint. Again, 1 coat or a hundred on the underside won't make a difference but it won't hurt to have as many as possible. But do the top side first, and as much as the sides as possible. Then painting the underside won't be as hard or critical.

Use some cheap bungee cords, rope, or even a cheap set of tie downs if you have the room to hang them, or HF sells very cheap plastic saw horses you can set them on, and then just have at it. Make sure they dry overnight before you flip them over.

So much irony..........I ordered mine from the same manufacturer last December, convinced you to go this route, and you'll have yours before I will.

Was searching the forum for someone with 4x Innovations sliders since that's what I'm most likely buying. Did you throw grip tape on the top? Has it held up pretty well?
