I do 1200+ miles often, stick shift for me anytime.

Trust me, If I could have keep my manual 2008 I would have, but the old girl was at 181k+ and started getting too many oil leaks from the front diff, to the steering rack, plus no cruise control was kinda a big deal for me.

 

My 08 6spd had cruise, though I rarely used it.

 

I tried, but after adding everything it didn't work, my truck was not pre-wired for cruise control.

 

Mine was a base with no power anything and wasn't pre-wired fo anything so adding the options was pretty much a no go for me.

 

some manual guys here will bash you for using CC while driving stick, am I right @TeecoTaco

yeah well when your driving multiple highway miles everyday I would rather have it.

 

Rostra kit comes with an OEM schism switch, a clutch switch and the wiring to pin the ECU. Pretty simple to do it yourself

If you spend most of your time inside the truck while you're driving it like i do, you're not gonna hate your decision.

 

The hardest thing about going from my Taco to the T4R was giving up the 6spd.
