I made the switch to a 2019...I am sorry for the betrayal but my new work required something automatic with cruise control...Ill pray tonight for the Tacoma gods forgiveness.

(Stupid random Camry in the middle messed up my shot)

What kind of job does that? Are they adding a tracker to it or something? Watch out for big brother :anonymous:

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Looking awesome! Edit: bought my new red ‘84 on a Wednesday and by Friday noon watched a dude with a sawzall plunge cut a hole for a flip-up sunroof in that bitch. Heart sunk for a moment but loved that damn $280.00 sunroof! Enjoy the new ride!

Trust me, If I could have keep my manual 2008 I would have, but the old girl was at 181k+ and started getting too many oil leaks from the front diff, to the steering rack, plus no cruise control was kinda a big deal for me.

My 08 6spd had cruise, though I rarely used it.

I tried, but after adding everything it didn't work, my truck was not pre-wired for cruise control.

Mine was a base with no power anything and wasn't pre-wired fo anything so adding the options was pretty much a no go for me.

Rostra kit comes with an OEM schism switch, a clutch switch and the wiring to pin the ECU. Pretty simple to do it yourself

Pfft, not bash...just saying I don't know if it even works in mine. I've seen the light come on when I accidentally activate it on my knee going around a corner but, holding speed? :notsure:

I'm all highway miler as well

If you spend most of your time inside the truck while you're driving it like i do, you're not gonna hate your decision.

The hardest thing about going from my Taco to the T4R was giving up the 6spd.
