I had SOS Concepts Rock Sliders on my 2015 Tacoma. My son had a medical episode, lost consciousness and crashed into a block wall at a 45 degree angle, knocked out a 6 foot section of the wall, and went along the block wall for about 30 feet. The only injuries he sustained were from seat belts and air bags, along with the medical causes of the crash. The Taco was totalled, leaving the front left wheel in the hole where the block wall was, and having frame damage. However, there was little damage to the side of the truck from the sliders at the A-post rearward. I heard the fire department rescuers say that he was ok probably because it was a Tacoma... I can only think that the rock sliders and Taco kept him from having more injuries. I would like to thank SOS Concepts for producing such heavy-duty sliders. However, I tried to put a review on their website and it didn't let me. I was thinking of replacing the Taco with a 4-Runner and getting a trailer, hopefully SOS Concepts makes sliders for 4-Runniers.

Wow that looks like quite an impact and at a bad angle. It definitely looks like the sliders helped. Glad your son will be ok.

Glad your son is ok, sending prayers your way.

looks like the sliders held up to the test, and this is not the first time I have seen Eddy's sliders protect the side of the truck in an accident. SOS Concepts products are no joke!

Wow glad this one has a happy ending. I send my prayers additionally. No doubt those sliders helped that from being worse than it was.

Not a scratch downwind or alongside the sliders! I'd say they did their job well.
