Just ordered the bumper during the sale, assumed it didn't come with it from the discussion. That's awesome that you addressed that concern from the market, thanks!

    Awesome. Thanks for the order.

This new one is double the size and has a metal lining inside for durability.

He had an inferno taco built it, sold it, and then got a cement taco. I think he even has an SSO slimline on the new truck.

Can anyone advise how the truck rides/bounces with this bumper and 5100 shocks. Will I have to go with heavier springs or will the stock ones work well enough not to cause the ride to suffer.

I doubt you'll feel any of the weight of the bumper. It's like having a 8 year old ride in the front seat lol

So I have some questions about setting up my winch.Im curious as to how one will affect the truck and battery system after installed.Do I have any concerns at all or need to adjust or add anything to compensate for this?I have never been down this road and don't want to find myself draining my system or running something by installing a winch that I truly hope to never use. I plan to install a smitty 9500 or 10k synthetic setup.

The stock battery is not the best. There’s plenty of better batteries ie Odyssey and Northstar to name a couple.

Quite a few members have done dual battery setups, but probably overkill just for a winch.

Yeah,I have looked at the dual battery set up I think sdhq or something has one. I'm just curious until i get to that point if i get my set up together and install it will it be sufficient to hook it up until i choose which route i go?As I said I hope to not have to actually use it but don't want it installed and not functional. The dual battery actually seems a bit appealing to me bc I may add quite a few lighting options and some other features that require power in the future.

Can’t wait till mine is done. I plan to install it without taking the bumper cover off, if I can.

    thanks brother!!

I would take it off, I was really intimidated by the thought of it all but it turned out super easy. I wouldn't have tried it with the bumper on tho. Trust me, that crash bar doesn't wanna let go. Lol

Went very smooth with Eddy holding my hand half the way through lol.
Yep, took my time and after the oscillating tool cut I went back and used my dremel to clean it up. That trim really does finish it off tho. I'll get some fresh pics posted tomorrow, my shackles have some play in them and I gotta cut the line hook to install my easy link!! This thing is beyond what I thought I had bought, lines up perfect, cuts are clean and very practical for use of the winch Thanks again for everything Eddy!!here's a little teaser tho

    Nice!

    What winch do you have?

    I bought a Smitty X20 for mine and a Factor55 ProLink.

Thanks. I got the smitty 9.5k synthetic.I kinda wished I would have bought the wireless but its not a big deal. I think it'll reach to the drivers seat.I also considered the prolink, but I ultimately decided I like the easy link better. If I find out I do indeed use the winch a good bit I'll buy a warn wireless. This is my first winch ever tho so I'm testing the waters really and couldn't be upset at the deal I got with the feedback I read.
