    Hey everyone,
I bought some SOS concepts rocksliders. I've got the drivers side hung with bolts hand tight. Making full contact on the front and rear mount pads to the frame, but I've got a good 1/4" gap on the center pad. Anyone have this issue before with this brand? Seems like a lot of gap to pull into on the torque down without it tweaking the frame.

Can you get a pic? A bit of a gap will close just fine.

I have SOS Offroad Concepts sliders too, they've been great. They've saved the bottom and sides of my truck dozens of times.

Worse case, call or email Eddy. They have great customer service.

I'm sure it'll close some as i torque, but thats a lot of gap to close. I'm worried about pulling the frame out as i torque down the center?

Is this because the front of the slider is hitting where the cab mount is?

You have a bolt on the bottom? I’d run the bolt up in the bottom to keep the lower tight.

then tighten up all the side bolts.

He upgraded the design.... the arms are different but the mounting should be the same. Did you pop all the plastic pieces off the frame that may have been in the way?

Yeah, was smooth, no plastic bits or hardware. My second time fitting this. Its doesnt want to close up though. Not without torqueing those center bolts, but i dont want to pull the frame that hard.

Torque it!! My money is on the gap will close, or the bolt will snap. Doubt you pull or tweak the frame.

That's not that bad a gap. Make sure there's the big included washer on the side where the frame is.

If you use your sliders offroading, they (and the frame) will flex a whole lot more than that much. You won't do any damage here.
