Since SOS is closed for a few days I thought I might see if I can get some answers here.

    1) I have 17" TRD/BBS wheels on my 2007 Tacoma. If I am measuring correctly, the 340mm, 6 pot kit will not work, but it isn't because of the spokes, it actually hits the wheel itself which surprised me. I am wondering whether I am measuring correctly? Is this specific 17" wheel known to not work?
    2) I cannot find a template on the SOS website for the 340mm 4 pot kit? Are the measurements for the 6 and the 4 essentially the same?
    3) If I am measuring correctly, the 325mm 6 pot kit will work. Will this kit provide much over stock?

I've always been disappointed with the stock brake performance (regardless of the many different pads I've tried), further, through the years, I've now had my 3rd seized OEM caliper. They truly are crap. I was really excited when I found these SOS kits but I am disappointed the 340mm doesn't look like it will work for my 17" wheels. I just want to make sure I am measuring correctly.

Pictures of the wheels and the 2 measurements I took are attached.

    Thanks in advance.

I have both front/rear kits. They do provide a significant increase in stopping power.
The best thing to do is text Tom from SOS and ask him what is the best kit for your application.

That wheel design is a bit funky. From the inner barrel, it looks like a step lip which makes your 17" wheel closer to the dimensions of a 16" wheel.

Are you against using a 1/2" spacer? So it will "push" your wheel out more to clear the stoptech caliper?

Ps: nice wheels...im a fan of BBS.

I talked to Tom and decided to just go with the 323 kit. My preference is to avoid a spacer in this application.
