And then pro pro - you will not have tail lights, bumper caps, intact tires or a dry interior halfway through the trail.

I’m not sure your side steps would be ok by the end of newbie newbie. But maybe lol

thanks for leading the newbie newbie trail @3JOH22A. Thought it would be a good time on dirt roads being babies first run but that was much more than I expected. We had a blast and baby slept through the whole run. We finished the trail quicker than expected though.

It was a pre run to our yota crawl so it was a harder one. I believe @Shveet exact words were “holy shit this is the hardest trail ever, wtf”. Was a good time.

I’m going to try and organize some runs. I may start a new thread. Just out of curiosity are people looking for a day run? If camping is an option I personally think Ardbeg would be a good spot. If not, we can run more of the five points trail that we have run already.

Camping makes it more worth it. A 3-4 drive plus 6-8 hours of trails and then back is crushing.

    But that's just me

Sounds good. I agree. I ended up getting home at 11pm after being on the road since 6am.

I am leaning towards Ardbeg since I’m very familiar with the trails there. I think it’s still doable for a day trip for those that want. I have done it before. Got off south trail at 8pm and headed home. Sucks lol.

Ahaha that’s crazy! I would crash so hard. I would like to try camping off the south trail once to see what it looks like there

there is dogfish lake and then partridge lake (I think that’s the name). Both great sites.

the 12 hours of vmuts I drove from 7am to 4am. Long day. One of the guys made the drive home too at 3am lol.

Ardbeg is a good option as well. We could do a day run but everyone that wants, can camp the weekend.

Also for the new guys that went through the deeper water crossings, run a hose or power wash into your rad, you'll be surprised how much dirt/sand comes out.
