Anyone going up Friday night to camp?
Should I bring a fishing rod? Are we camping near a lake?

 

I do believe some are heading up Friday. I’m sure they will chime in. I’m hoping to as well assuming I can get out of town after helping some family.

 

I would probably leave Friday after the kids are put to bed. Not sure where people would be camping etc. first time going to that trail.

I’ll try and make it out Friday but not 100% sure. I’m going to try and coordinate routes and stuff this week too.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but we're meeting at the Tim Hortons listed on the 1st page correct? (Asking because last year we met somewhere else).
Looks like there is a gas station there as well to fuel up.

 

Yeah in that parking lot area. The tims is usually pretty busy so we will park either in the grocery store parking lot right by the tims or at the back.

there is a gas station before the tims and after. We will be making a left out of the tims to head to the trail. I’m assuming we will leave in groups to make it a bit easier for convoying.

I'm back!

For those interested on coming out camping Friday night we are planning to go here ( 44.72813, -78.46048 ) Nice waterfront campsite

DISCLAIMER: The campsite has a bit of a rough entrance with short rock climb where a rear locker comes in handy. If you do not want to get your vehicle up there, there is a bit of an opening before the climb or there are a couple more campsites nearby that I can provide you.

We must be rolling out of camp by 8am so we can meet the group in town by 9am and grab and all-Canadian breakfast.

For Saturday night, we'll air up and head north and camp on the south side of Algonquin park; we will have a special friend waiting for us up there ( 45.41487, -78.80355 ) Shoot us a PM if you are coming camping Saturday night and we'll let you know what it is all about!

what time are you guys heading up Friday ?
I am probably going to get lost trying to find you guys lol.

 

Sometimes you need to get lost to find yourself.

I am heading up around 7pm Friday if you want to come out with me, but a few others are going up earlier, would be a good idea tagging along with someone else!
