I know there are a million dynamat immitators out there. I used to work fior tweeter as an installer and all we used was dynamat extreme. Its good stuff but hella expensive. I saw the RAAM audio stuff and the Tundra guys seem to love it. I need the best price/performance material that can stand the hell like temps we get down here in alabama. Any suggestions.

If you're looking for performance at a good price with EXTREME heat tolerance then Don's stuff at Sound Deadener Showdown is the only thing you should be looking at. His adhesive/compound mixture has proven to beat out all others. His stuff is rated at 400 degrees F for 8hours before staring to peel. No other brand can say that to my knowledge. And I believe it's dampening properties are equal to or slightly exceed that of Dynamat Xtreme.

I'm in Texas and that's why I use it! :)
