Not sure of the square footage, but as far as the stages...

    from the outside

    damper
    decoupler
    barrier layer
    decoupler

    (shown in reverse order below)

    upload_2024-3-2_13-18-40.png

    works well for me.

Maybe break out a tape and estimate 25% on the high side. Good dampers don't require full coverage but barrier layers do.

For just the floor & back seat area? That's probably close.

I dunno - been a while since I've done that.

Confucious say - man with tape measure get close enough

YMMV but I was able to cover the floor and up the back wall with 30sqft of material. It was very close though so a bit more won't hurt. That was just my experience.

How many layers are you going to add? I did this mod as well, and in my opinion, one layer is not enough. It does a decent job of quieting excess noise, but you won't get that true quietness without more layers. Also you're going to hear more noise through the firewall if you don't remove the dash and throw some layers on the inner firewall as well.

I used 2 packages & 2 rolls for my Xtra cab. I did it with the interior completely stripped so I was pretty thorough with my coverage.

Doing a couple layers in the door really cuts down on wind noise especially when you do the roof.
