I just put a camper on my truck and i'm about to cut the back wall out.I did a search on sound deadning and all the threads were pretty old and im sure there are better options out.I'm not trying to break the bank, but could probally scrape up about 300.00 for this project.

Your question his a bit vague.
If you're asking about good products search my name I have several posts related to this. I used a full bundle of raammat all over the joint. doors, roof, rear wall ( 4d 2k6 ). Vids pics etc.

It is certainly less than 300 dollars and I think Rick(raamaudio owner) is a good business owner and responsive.
I just don't know anything about camper sound deadening But it sounds great in my truck I love it

I am a fan of Sound deadening Showdown. Don is a great guy, a well known tester in the industry that finally put out his own product after testing stuff for years.

Cascade makes some great stuff as well.

Never used Raam stuff, but have used Edead (JUNK), but 1st and 2nd generations, second skin damplifier, damplifier pro, and SPL tiles.

Even if you dont use him, read up at www.sounddeadenershowdown.com. Lots of good info.

You are up a shit creek with that budget. Vibration dampners are not sound blockers. Youd need a fortune to do that area correctly.

I'm confused, you are about to cut the back out of what, the truck, or the camper?

I know my 2011 truck is not to bad already for road noise, but how much more sound deadening can one expect with one of these products? And what parts of the double cab truck benefit from it the most? Doors, roof, etc? Also how much weight does this add to the vehicle if you do a complete job?

    Thanks!
