Sound issues with Junsun Head Unit

Looking for help here. Quick specs - 13- Tacoma TRD Sport with oem JBL system. I recently upgraded to an AMAZON Junsun head unit to provide a larger screen back up camera for my son (new driver).

Everything works fine... Except the Bass is obnoxious. Nothing I do will tame it - not changing The EQ settings, turning off the sub on the head unit nothing. it's so bad it's hard to even listen to commercials much less music. Anyone have this issue or know how to either control the bass with this head unit or a work around?

I went back and forth with the company and nothing they suggested worked but their customer service was severely lacking.

 

I have think I fixed it. There was a whole different “settings” I found that had a bass setting that I turned down. That did the trick. Not the most user friendly menu screens.
