Crutchfield's Sound Ordnance B-8PT is, again, on sale for $160 (normally $200). The package includes a free EFX 8-gauge wiring kit (normally $50) and free S&H. All-in-all, a good deal for anyone looking to round-out the their stero's low-end with something that (for many of us) fits nicely under the driver's seat.

Would it be possible to put this into a stock system/HU?

I believe so, since it has both low- and high-level inputs. The experts at Crutchfield should be able to advise you, though.

if you call cf and tell them you have only had the sub a couple weeks they will credit the difference back to your card.i bought a stereo from them last year at xmas and right after they dropped the price of the stereo about 50.00 bucks.i called them and they credit it back to my cc. i also have that same sub and i really like it.

The instructions warn you that wiring in parallel with speakers will give you significantly poorer performance than if you have sub pre-outs on your HU. I don't know how worse the performance is though.

Great little sub though. It fits nicely behind the rear driver's side seat in the double cab.
