    Hello all,
I am about to pull the trigger on a sound system upgrade for my 2018 double cab SR5.
Will be going with a sub-woofer box behind the seats to install 3 full size 10's, I already have the shop to do the install and the guy to make the box for me. Has anyone done this setup yet? I have seen a lot of members going with single or dual and usually shallow mounts. The box being made for me has a mounting depth of 6" so i have plenty of space to get those full size 10's in there

I haven't seen 3 10's here before, but it should work depending on the air space needed and the subs you put together.

I have a single 10 in a sealed box getting 500W or so and it rattles all the mirrors and doors if i want it to...with 3 10s, you sure as shit better Dynamat everything you can get access to.

yea for sure bro, imma have the shop do it I’ll make sure to let them know. What I’m going for is to be loud enough to be in a truck meet up and have the whole parking lot lit up. We’re doing all speakers so I want the bass to keep up with the sound level we’re doing either legion audio or sundown not sure yet

I only have the pictures of it, I found them on a instagram aggregation site, so there was no other info other than the pictures.
Here is the other pic I have of the box.

i wont be able to do a box like that but definately going with a similar setup just the subs are going to be sundown SA-10's. the air space per sub on the box im getting is .60 and the sundowns require .50 so im more then ok. just need to workout the mounting for the amps, might just put the mono for the subs in the cubby under the rear driver seat and then the 4 channel under the passenger seat.

im looking at 750watt rms per sub
so i need an amp to put out 2,250watt rms to cover the 3 subs

The passenger front seat has a metal bar that goes across the underside that prevents things from being mounted under it, the passenger rear seat cubby has the jack mounting there that would prevent a amp from being mounted there.

You could just cut out the jack mount though.

these trucks are a bit limited on amp mounting locations, you can mount a single amp under the drivers front seat, a smallish amp under the drivers rear seat, or if you get creative you can build your subwoofer box with a step up under it, that way you can slide the amps under the box.

actually i can get away with installing an amp under the passenger seat, i saw theres enough space there. the second location would be under the rear seat but the drivers side which is the small cubby, if the mono amp doesnt fit i can always remove the plastic under there and i wont have to worry about the other side where the jack is. if i cant manage to do that then ill just remove and clean up the jack area, either way i cant use that jack im lifted 6.5" with 35s on 20s

Yeah that jack is useless to you then. I tried to put some audio control acm amps under the passenger side, the seat didnt move because it hit the amps.... those amps are only 1.75 inches tall.

Can you use some of those seat spacers? Would they lift it up enough?

Yeah, I guess you could jack the seat up with some spacers.

I have heard of people using spacers for the seats but im not too fond of that, prefer to secure the seats correctly. by putting spacers the seats anchoring points lose alot of strength and if theres an accident it can be a big problem. ill make it work without that
