About a month ago or so i installed bilstein 5100s all the way around, set the fronts at 2.5 and installed general heavy duty springs out back. Got an alignment and was happy with all the numbers and the truck drives great! Around that time i started hearing a rather faint occasional clicking noise from the front driver side wheel area.. it sounds like a rock in the tire but obviously isnt.. it kind of comes and goes and doesnt get louder or faster with speed. Any ideas? Trucks only got 60k on it i cant imagine it would be bearings but ive read others prematurely failing. CV joint? Anything else? Hopefully someone else has experienced something similar. Thank you!!

I had the same problem after I put my new tires on. Ended up figuring out they stacked the wheel weights to high on the inside of the wheel and it was rubbing on the metal shield around the brakes in the front. Look under there and see if you have a little wear from that. Took me a while to figure it out and it was driving me crazy.

If it's not a rock in one of the tires, maybe a cv joint, but thats rare unless you have a ripped or torn boot. The other thing would be a dry u-joint, when was the last time they were greased?
60k is about the average on nongreasable joints

do you have a spacer on ? Funny i say this but recheck and re-torque all your wheels nuts.
i saw some one not long ago with similar sounds and it was his spacer getting loose....

In that case everything suggested already would / should get faster / slower with respect to speed.

Unfortunatly I don't have any ideas at this time.

Maybe a nail in your tire? When the head gets ground off they can be hard to spot.

Had that same noise no my 2012 Dbl cab.Come to figure out;it was the top brake pad pin"rattling".Mine did it from day one,has stoped now,temporaryly,{24,000} miles.Pin "rattles" in the mount hole, put a secong brake spring clip on it;so won't do it again, noise gone.
