I don't have anything that needs done but you're really close to my house so I'll show up for the meet n greet and help out with grilling if needed. Oh, yeah - I'm also quite proficient at drinking beer and providing dumb suggestions.

Are we going to try replacing your balls, or is that saved for a different day?

I would like some help with my balls. :D

No really, I would. But I think I'll need a press to get the old balls out of the UCAs and Jerry has that. Unless you have something that can get them out? I have the new stainless steel uniballs just waiting to be put on!!!

    No Homo.

There's a snap ring on the bottom of the uniball. After you pull that out I think you just have to press the balls out through the bottom of the UCA. I have a pitman arm puller like this:

I bet if you kept a bolt in the uniball and put that on it would push the ball right out, but just a guess. Find a writeup. Someone has had to have had their balls replaced on this forum.

Yeah at Jerry's Mod day I got the snap rings out and still couldn't get the balls out. Let's try to use the arm puller to see if that thing budges. I have unlimited alignments for a year at Wheel Works so might as well attempt it again. The squeeks just started to come back literally this week!

Then I might as well change the brake pads since my front tires are off. :D

That would work to pull them but putting in the new ones not so much.

^ It depends on the individual UCA mfr. The uniball could be installed with sealant or Loctite retaining compound, to keep moisture out and prevent fretting; some force will then be required to remove it.

Anyone know of any good deals on alignments? Going to need one after the lift and most places want $75-85.
