Yeah, honestly I'm just delaying sas as much as possible by making it as capable as I can. After a few more broken cvs I'll probably just say fuck it and cut it all out.

I want to get Dana 60s and put them on my scout because it's a direct swap and then put the 44s that are stock on the scout onto my truck

 

Dana44 wont last under a 2nd gen taco, weighs too much 1ton or stay stock

 

I haven't heard that. I just heard they were weaker and don't do as we'll with hard abuse

 

Why not turn the scout into something that had to be trailered, then supercharge the taco, small lift, tires ect. And use it as tow rig?

 

Because I'm only the 2nd owner and totally original. It's too much of a classic to chop up and do anything crazy. I'd do Dana 60s more for bragging rights. It's a mall crawler but I take it out to wheel occasionally and my dad uses it to drag my ass out when I'm stuck and I use it to drag my buddies out. I get the occasional call from someone who knows someone who knows me that needs the scout.
