I looked into those as well. They don't come with grease packs (not really a big deal, but extra cost).
I have replaced boots a few times on my truck using factory kits. Everything is supplied that you need, and they are pretty cheap for the whole kit. I had not done the boot slide until this last time. In a few months I should have a report about how they hold up.

 

I think they can get expensive. @GARSHA91 may know. I think he's bought a pair

If you only want one for a spare, get a reman from Advanced or Rock Auto. Just have it as a just in case, enough to get you home. If you break one you have a replacement, then you can rebuild/replace the factory. The ones from Advanced (I know they are not the same quality) have a lifetime warranty I believe. Let it live under the seat and be there for the oh shit moment.

The last boots I put on were these silicone Dormans. I have been through about half a dozen other boots.. These are standing up to the task so far.

Maybe not quick but easy enough, and super messy!!

 

IIRC the OEM kits are around $30 and come with grease packs, clamps, and the clips for the inside shaft of the CV that goes into the diff, and split ring retainers for the tripod thing on the end with the bearings on it (yes, that is the technical term).

I have done it a few times, so I can get it done in about an hour and a half. It takes longer to get the CV out than to replace the boot.

lift spindle out of the way and tie up
get yourself a cv remover from southeast overland, pops right out.

 

Once everything is separated and put back together, put the boot on the shaft.

What I do is take the Bell part that goes into the diff and hold that upright. I places the spline part down into a hole (a "box of rags" box work perfect). Fill the bell with the supplied grease then insert the tripod thingy into the bell. Slide the boot on and clamp it down.

There isn't really any specialty tools you will need other than a socket for the hub nut (IIRC 35mm big boy) and a brass punch to get the tripod thingy off. You don't want to beat on that or you will pop the bearings off of it. The punch I use is about 16" long 1/2" brass rod. Getting that thing off is aggravating. And make sure you make match marks so you can put it all back together the same way.

 

It was cheaper to buy that CV to rebuild my old ones then it would cost to buy the seals
