Trust me take it to Apple...

My wife went through 3 aftermarket screens that didn’t work before finally taking it to Apple and paying $20 extra to have it fixed right.

I had two ‘03 250s. One ex cab and one 4 door. The black 4 door was by far my favorite but both were lariats. But anytime I would crank them up I would ask myself if today was the day it would cost me big $$$$$.

This explains my reasoning for owning a tacoma.

Thanks for the link! ill check them out. $20 sounds much better than 150, but we are also about to fly to south america for a few weeks and im not sure we could get those in time. apparently the white is out of stock?

Did yall use those that are listed above or were yall using the ones off Amazon?

The repair costs as well as maint. are what scare the hell out of me on a diesel
They're cool, fun, sound great - but can cost crazy $$$ to keep on the road

ahh gotcha. well i'd be pissed if i had someone else repair it and it not work haha. at least you knew it was equipment and not your own installation that caused it not to work

No idea about the stock they have, and the seven might be more complex than the phones I’ve worked on. I would suggest going through the how-to on ifixit and figuring out which parts you need.

Also most Amazon screens are of low quality. The glass is thinner
