The cables are binding up and making it all catywampus. So one side sits lower than the other side. And the low side sorta sits down into the roof a little too much. I'm going to get my friend, the shop foreman and head technician, to fix it properly for me.

Eh. Probably not cheap enough. But GXs now bring more money than 4Runners. And I don't see the 4Runners going much cheaper. I feel like (and hopefully) the important bits are solid. Solid body, frame, engine and transmission. The other things just seem to be common issues with these trucks and I knew some of these things need addressing going into this search.

 

Im very fortunate to have bought my GX when I did. I got offered a pretty clean FJ60 for it last week, so they’re definitely going up.

 

I'm researching now in replacement seats. I'd love to find a set of Limited heated leather seats.

 

Yes, we have always gotten counterdepth. This is the most recent, score for $1400 beans on clearance at Lowes a few months back. Makes the kitchen feel more wide open.

 

Any good suggestions on a good 4Runner forum?
