I watched the guy tighten them during my alignment..

 

It's easy to blow tie rods. They're only like 20$ from Napa anyway. Try that and check the torque of your LCA and UCA bolts

 

Tie rods have a ball joint that will blow easy. Mine are toasts and my truck wanders like a drunkard

 

I'll look into them tomorrow.. At first I thought it was cause I added the top.plate spacer and it is the result of everything being extend

 

It shouldn't be. Also it could be your tires. I know duratracs will have to be balanced frequently so it might just need to be rebalanced.

Morning all.
Left work at 5am to have a little fun. There's a stretch of road that's straight right behind my house thats about a mile long, so I thought I would try my launch control.
Basically....you open up the performance pages on the touch screen. Setup your rpm launch speed with the slider. I think it goes from 2500- 4500 rpm. ( I chose 3k)
On screen commands tell you to put the clutch pedal to the floor and "stab" the gas pedal to the floor.

When you do...The rpm only rises to the set rpm for launch. So 3k for me. release clutch and BOOM! the fun begins.

Maybe I missed my calling in life.

Morning everyone

 

Yeah. Figured the wife would be pissed if I started flooding her news feed with Tacoma stuff so I made my own FB.

 

I do miss a manual gearbox...then I remember all my commutes through LA traffic with a Stage 4 clutch and a dead left leg trying to clutch with my right.

Now that I don't have that stupid commute, I'll eventually end up with a car to slam gears in again.

 

Yea. I would have never got the M6 if I was doing trafic every day.
My commute to work is 17 miles. 8 miles of hwy, 1 mile of downtown, and 8 more miles of hwy. Its perfect.

Also I wouldnt have gotten it if it was my left hip was replaced instead of the right.
