Snorkels are more suited to keep dust from the road to a minimum in the air intake. In order to do deep water crossings there are a bunch of other things to worry about such as waterproofing electrical systems.

And looks........they defiantly look cool :anonymous:.

I'm mainly getting one cause I don't have fender liners. Dust and shit can get into my intake is why I'm wanting one

I like to run through the puddles down on the service roads on the way to the river, or anywhere in town around here (the rainwater on the roads backs up real bad). I'm paranoid I'm going to lock down the engine one day doing it. I would also like to install one, but it's not in the budget right now :pout:

Just plug the end of your intake. That should keep the dust and everything else out since you don't have fender liners.

goodluck with USAjobs bud. ive had literally zero luck with applying through that site. ive started using that site to find job postings and then going to that agencies website and applying straight through them instead. cuts out a middle man and I at least get a notice to whether or not im even in the running within a year. I just got a rejection email from usajobs for a job I applied for over a year ago. Also, NOAA and other govt agencies are in a habit of giving priority to veterans (not saying its a bad thing) regardless of their skill level in regards to that particular job.

Agreed. With usajobs, if you don't have all the keywords and meet all the quals (or at least tailor your resume to say you do), your resume/application won't make it past the first selection.

Idk, usajobs hasnt been that bad, then again ive never really used it extensively

I applied for Border patrol a couple months ago prior to getting my degree and the only reason it got rejected was i lacked the education requirements... im just gonna update that part now and see what happens..

yea and I must suck at tailoring my resume because ive never made it past the first selection haha. ive even applied for jobs that are literally Exactly what I do now and I didn't make it to round 2. its frustrating.
