That's not a bad deal. The stock, grip and trigger guard on this one are all made by Magpul - which is a pretty good company IMO. That's a complete lower, so you wouldn't have to put all the pieces together on that one. Buy you a complete upper with that, put em together and you have yourself a fully functional rifle! (of course you'd need a magazine and bullets too....)

Pretty much, yeah. I got away with doing mine without the vice block...but it does make life easier to have it.

That one's not bad because it includes pretty much everything you'd need for a complete lower, and that stock along is around $70 (that's the one I have on one of my rifles).

The first one you posted will do, but then you'd have to buy a stock and all that stuff....plus if you're anything like me you'd get bored with the standard grip and all pretty quick and you'd be back to spending money upgrading to Magpul or whatever.

My <$5 pool noodle solution to keeping the kayak off the rack. :notsure:

I'll for sure keep the rear and fronts where they are but I'll adjust where the center two go so the coaming sits on them.

I bet if you attached them to the bottom of the kayaks it would keep the kayaks off the water too!!
