I asked a guy I work with with a 2015 if that was his MGM I parked beside. He looked at me dumbfounded. After I explained I told him if you drive a Tacoma you have to know your color name and it is preferred for you to know the paint code, also. I won't repeat his reply. Lol. How much does it weigh? Does it have trailer brakes? My camper is at the 3500 mark. With the ride rites and brakes, it tows it just fine.

I really think that may be part of the problem from the past. He's a trip.

It sita right around 4k, no brakes. Also, im toting around that beast of a 4cyl motor haha.

 

I'm 4cyl too. That's why I chimed in. I bet the 4k would be doable with a Class III hitch, but stopping it would be a problem. That little engine is a work horse and people underestimate it. I would highly recommend a tranny cooler, though.

 

yea its impressed me. ive got the hitch for it, but no tranny cooler. I really need to get one of those but wouldnt know how the hell to install it myself and i think it would be hell to get the dealer to do.

 

@dan0mite I finally got the cover installed

 

I had a transmission shop do mine. I think it was around $350 for it and a service.

 

actually that doesn't sound near as bad as i thought it would be! I may look more into that again
