    I saw a thread a while back when I was researching something else random and a few guys have dropped their headliner used sound deadening material to reduce heat up top as there is no heat protective layer.

    My sunglasses getting hot was one of the reasons I started looking into this mod in the first place. That and a few times while driving during summer, I could feel the heat radiating from the roof on top of my head. Hope it helps some people out.
