Not as far as I've found. I know it sat for almost a year before I bought it; the oil change tag in the windshield says next service at 8/15/15 or 113,xxx miles. So I think it was used last spring to put a boat in the water, he backed it up to far, and shortly after is when it started to just sit.

Yeah, thought at first it was just some scraping/rusting on the bumper. Then looked a little closer and thought it was some wet hay or something got in there to rust the tailgate hinge. Wasn't until after I got home with it and pulled the tailgate to start digging a bit more that I realized how bad it is.

On a side note...Do any of y'all like what they call "Texas Country" music?? If so, there's a song on youtube called "Keep the Wolves Away" by Uncle Lucious that is awesome. I like Ryan Bingham too.

Yeah, suspension feels great, motor's solid. Trans suffered a bit of neglect, but that should be remedied shortly.

But for the frame, yeah, basically what I'm thinking. Any of the panels I can replace. Even the tow hitch. But the back 6-8" of that frame is what's going to be a pain, in cost and effort I think.

Yeah, I've been digging into the 128 page thread on here about it. So far I'm guessing not because 1) Well below the Rust Belt and 2) It's now after the 31 March inspection deadline. But I'll keep digging to see if anything changed on all that.

I did the Toyota VIN check, frame recall wasn't on it. Though if I can find a way to get them to do it, I'll jump on it.

if youre just outside of the deadline, call corporate and give em hell. I did that for my headlights melting thing and they couldn't "cover" it but they gave me a $900 credit towards whatever I chose at the dealership. just keep running up the chain until get the manager's, manager's, manager's mom.
