Well my ride mods are on hold, funds have been diverted to a 9 day trip in the Denali

And salary can suck it, I wiggled my way back into hourly.

I'm "salary exempt" will it still change anything for me? If it does I bet AAP will either give me a raise to bump me just over 50k or they'll tell me to work 40 hours a week instead of 50.

I'd sure like the back OT from June and July. I think I averaged like 68 hours a week over those 8 weeks!

yea its basically (for us as explained by our higher ups) saying that its no longer based on whether youre exempt or non exempt, its going to be based on base salary now. the speech we got was that its now up to the supervisor to make certain that no one works over 40hrs/wk no matter what. no excuses. that's not applicable to us that work on the vessels because the crews do 12 on 12 off and the scientists (on our boat at least) do at least 14 or 15 hour days. they still haven't figured out what to do about us yet. (how to screw us basically). but id say talk to your HR and inquire and poke and prod until you get an answer.

Flying out, we just did a grand Teton, Yellowstone and mt Rushmore trip in June. Rented a rxr 900 in the tetons, much fun, many drunk.

 

Call me crazy. Unless every weather agency is wrong- or something big time changes- Gulches ain't happening this weekend.

Maybe @Acerwin is the kiss of death for Gulches meets??
