Haven't had it done on the new one yet but all my other vehicles were 30%. You don't have to go too dark with it. Just doing 30 darkens it down really nice inside and keeps it much cooler in the summer.

I want to replace this windshield before I tint my fronts and windshield. I'm sure one or two more drives towards Spartanburg will do it. 85 is rocks galore. Already got a couple good chips, waiting for one good crack and it'll be replaced. I replaced two in the past two years. Maybe HPR will do the job. I'll just be patient.

Do your people warranty illegal tint? I normally get my cars tinted in Florida. Their legal tint is much darker than ours plus they do lifetime warranties. I'm not looking or expecting a lifetime warranty but I want quality work.

No locker, I just gun it. Gets the job done. Except that one time I got stuck near the power lines in the soft sand. Everytime I pass that spot, I remember that one time I got stuck...

Nah. Unless he has precision aiming to avoid everything but my windshield, nope. I already got a good ding down to bare metal on my hood..

Lol yeah I've luckily never been stopped for it before here. I've been stopped but I always roll all windows down and put my hands out the window. They feel safe and thank you for it by not saying anything about the tint haha

Technically you have to have a prescription to have your windshield tinted. (I used to sell and install residential and commercial flat glass film). But most of the time when people get their windshield done it's lighter that 35% light translucency. You could tint it with completely clear film with no "tint" color value and you'd still experience heat reduction as well as glare reduction.
