Yup...I guess it decided to make landfall here. Radar shows it should be over for us soon.

They claim that there will be the backside for us as it drags its ass up towards myrtle. I wish it was almost done! Pretty sure I stopped damage to the pool liner for now............but I would like to be able to get ahead of the future stuff! Can't go out in stronger winds..........what I was in scared the shit out of me with the gusts!

I have been up all night babysitting the pool since we still have power as of now! Kinda shocked at that! Otherwise, not terrible cept for them saying the BIG wind event is still to come :eek::eek:

Hope everyone stays safe on the coast.

Not being home sucks. So many unknowns. My wife sent me pictures from the hospital and it looks like down town is under water right now... And it's low tide. I'm just hoping that I can get home when this thing passes. I'll be heading back down as soon as the big stuff moves off Charleston.

 Hopefully you don't lose power. Right now according to the SCE&G map it looks like I still have power but the neighborhood next to me is out. I guess we will see

Last I talked to him around 4am, my brother reported some light flooding at the aquarium, but they still had power there as well

Lost power about 30 minutes ago at my buddy's house in Columbia. My truck is parked on the street away from any trees.

I thought about that. But I'd have to go outside to move it. I dont want to get wet.

I hear my friends kids waking up. They're gonna freak when they realize I'm here.

Depending on damage, NG may not let you in until they can deem roads safe just FYI

Don't rush to get on the road as soon as the rain stops

Think they could use help if nothing else? We're heading down with chainsaws to see if we can clear any trees downed that we can handle.
