Hope everyone is doing well

 

oh yea I seen that

 

I had a hot shower this morning, just fried up some home fries and eggs. Heck, the live oak in the back yard hasn't even shed any moss, I feel pretty darn lucky, hope everyone else is doing alright.

 

We've still got power for now. and only one small leak in the roof. though still have a few hours of major rain to go. hope the rest of the SC peeps are doing well.

@dan0mite hope that water receedes. I believe high tide is 12:00-1:00pm or so??

Strong rain and light gusty winds here. Not unlike any other storm.

We are already getting calls for ppl who have water damage.....................they are panicked (which I understand) but the wise thing is to wait til it is all over with...................I am sure this is gonna be like it was last year...........non stop. I still have honey-do list shit from last year needing done Holy shitbeans!

And damn this waffle house meter.................I want waffle house now.....................

 

Hope everyone in the Palmetto State are safe and dry. I use to live in Bishopville, so S.C. is like my 2nd home still.

 

IF you know anyone in the evac order areas who left, they are not to return til the order is lifted...................and you know they will be looking for them to return and eff with them

 

Water has receded halfway down the driveway...so maybe 3"? From what I understand, it's pretty fucked outside my neighborhood. Will probably drive through the neighborhood to make sure nobody needs help or anything...

 

No idea. I think we're going home tomorrow and we'll see...

 

I lied. Nikki Haley just said the roads are impassible

 

Governor Haley just told everyone to wait until Monday to come back... Bump that!

Took a drive through the neighborhood and then paddled the kayak down the road.

 

I'll wait until 1-2 before I head out. Will go to our lake house first then try to head back to charleston on the back roads.
