    From north of the West Coast, there are some Alaskan beers you can't this side of the Midwest that just plain rock. That is a definitely plus to the Traverse City drive... Opens up a lot of beer possibilities.

    I won't get down there for a couple weeks. :(

    Edit: Crouch won't be open on my drive through town, bummer. The brewery will usually make special exceptions for me when I show up during nonbusiness hours, reminds me to get my order in before I head down.

    Exactly, lol. In CA every grocery store is fully stocked with liquor. The 1pm games are on at 10am out there. Roll out of bed, hit the grocery store, enjoy!

    There are also LOTS of breakfast places there. Think sports bar watch the game- meets breakfast and bloody mary's! :thumbsup:

    Told my buddy in MA about Crouch and the organinc blue corn, and that they do not use the head- AND put the tail in the next batch.

    He is super intrigued. Bought my father in law a bottle of the black label- everyone he shared it with said it was the best!!
