Is there anything or anywhere I can take my truck to try and get the "true speed" recorded officially? My speedo is much farther off than I thought it was. I need some help because I'm worried about that ticket I got on Saturday.

 

do you have a GPS? that's what I use mainly. there may be an app that shows you true MPH. im off by about 4 MPH at 80

ahh gotcha. sorry, I don't know about official. maybe go to the police station and ask them if you can work with them to do a couple of test runs with a freshly calibrated radar gun?

I've heard people say that dealerships can check them & then print it off for your records but I'm not sure , maybe call & ask a dealership around there close.

Yes, thats all I can think, the bulbs got hot and cracked the cheap lenses when dunked in the mud? I was running them on all the time, but that should not be a problem.
