Yea, but it's cooling down a lot. And here in the next few days, it will get into the high 60's, low 70's.

 

I'm having some issues with finding a place to mount my maxtrax . They are like an inch to long to mount inside my roof basket but I'm not liking anything else.

Anyone like any of these or have any other suggestion? I'd like to just keep them behind the backseat, but they won't fit.

I got them to fit on the basket. Just had to turn them slightly. This is probably the best, safest spot. I could probably just bungee them there.
I'll try them behind the spare. That would be a good spot to.

 

nice, roof rack is best spot IMO

 

and, gotta think about when you need them where will you be, how deep in mud, and how easy to get to them. thats why I put mine on rack over driver side.

Cool. I doubled them up on the drivers side. That way I still have half the basket for other stuff.

So I've recently acquired some SOS bolt on sliders. Been working on installing them this afternoon.

Unfortunately, the driver side frame bolt that has to come off will not budge, and I've nearly rounded it off trying to remove it.

Does anyone upstate have a shop and be willing to help get this bolt off and get these sliders on? Not specifically today, but soon?
