They don't budge on pricing from what I know. Double check the frame. Owner buys the vehicles at auction out of state.

Don't rely on the dealer's carfax report

Take the VIN to your insurance company

physically hit the frame near the spring mounts with a hammer

look at the seat rails for rust

They left quite the negative impression on me. Rather pushy, piss poor attitudes and for sure zero negotiation on the prices. (I was fine with the latter part, but the attitudes made me pass in a heartbeat)

I'll stop by and see what they're like. If they're asses I'll take my money else where

Check the inside of the frame rails with a flashlight too.

I learned the seat rail trick when my brother discovered 5 years after a purchase that his vehicle was a flood vehicle...seat rails rusted before anything else

Toyota's "official" method of checking for frame rot was with a hammer near the spring hangers

I stopped by six times to look at a 4runner. No one would ever greet or speak to me.

This was my experience as well. Looked at an red DCLB that was advertised with a bed topper that wasn't on it. It was scratched all to hell, and no one paid one bit of attention to me.

Avoid AA Auto sales on 153 in Easley. Owner is a Grade A douchecanoe. They also put TRD stickers on every taco they get in.

Have you seen the Stanley coolers? We sell them at my store and we sel yeti and K2 and the owner uses a Stanley because of it being cheap to beat up and he says it keeps ice almost as good as the yeti but not quite that long. I think they're like 30$?
