South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

This is it. I don't want to do this again.

I'm building a house that everyone wants to come to. I would rather have my kids and all their friends hang out here (becuase it's awesome) than go somewhere else where I'm not involved.
There is also room, if need be, for some family to move in if they had to (possibility in the future). I'm looking ahead.

 

Just saw you sprayed foam your exterior walls. Are you going to do the interior walls too?
I plan on doing that to my next home I build. Only downfall is you can't here a tornado until
it knocks on your door. Spray foam in the walls makes your home so incredibly quiet.

I have spray foam insulation in the house we had built 3 years ago. I haven't really noticed a huge noise reduction, but it is pretty quiet. It is an expensive upfront cost, but it's definitely worth it. We have 3 AC units and our electric bill has never been over $250 a month.

 

I have a blast setting off metal detectors every chance I get!

 

Not worth it on interior walls. Extra cost to do it, and doesn't really add any benefit.

 

Cant wait to see it all.

 

Yeah, we didn't do it on interior walls either. Just got regular insulation in those.

Unfortunately, I was in the scat pack and not the Tacoma, so she prob just thought I was just some old man creepin. Lol.

 

So you weren't old man creeping? I mean, every time I roll up on some young lady and try to talk her into going to a strange new website that's pretty much what I'm doing.

I told my wife, I'm not the oldest or the biggest perv, but I'm trying really hard. She hasn't divorced me yet.

 

Well, I did know quite a bit about her truck. Of course I had to throw Darias name in there because it was nearly identical minus the lift.
Hopefully, that made me less creepy.
