    Didn't people have problems with their drum brakes seizing up and not letting them move sometimes? Maybe the clunk was coming from the drums locking into place and the slight movement from shifting back out of gear released them?

    Basically you can do whatever you want, but if they can't prove what you did caused the failure, they have to cover it.

    As in you can lift your truck up to two and a half 3 inches also you can add bumpers Rock sliders crap like that and it will not void your warranty. Only time warranty gets involved is if you have done any kind of transmission or motor work as in Performance Products
