    Earlier is better. I'm dog sitting for a week or so I can't stay away too long. Plus I function better in the morning. I get cranky and need naps in the afternoon.

    The convention that my wife and kids are going to will start at 9. If 3 hours to Hurricane Creek from DT Charlotte is accurate, then earliest I can get there is 12.
