At 50...I get to deal with a few things.
And alcohalic mother who drinks vanilla extract.
A dad who is having one of his kidneys removed.
Both are 70ish.

A 93 yr old grandmother who is smarter, sharper, more active than my parents who lives next door to them and rely's on 2 people that can barely take care of themselves.

 

damn man, that's a PITA. I always like when I hear about the grandparents being super active and sharp. that's my other grandfather. he's got a little case of the shakes, but he still climbs on his roof to fix things, is in the yard every day doing something, and he just got done remodeling his sons house. he just never stops. im hoping I get his genes.

 

All of my grandparents are gone, but on my wife's side they are both in their 90's and active, especially her grandmother who rides her bike and plays pickleball daily.

I hope my kids get some of their genetics.

also,just got given a chainsaw. boss saw a case at the dump and since he needed a case he picked it up and turns out it still had a full saw in it haha. looks like all its missing is the primer bulb. im going to assume it needs new fuel lines too.
