Lol. You're my favorite TW Express carrier. I was just telling Matic yesterday how you're one of my favorite members. Beer buddies and hauling partners!

I cannot believe the "squatting" trucks are here now. That went through California back in the 90s but it was because prerunners got real popular and everybody was blasting through the dunes with crazy long travel setups up front and only a few had it in them to chop up the bed for shock towers and tire clearance. Everybody else wanted that look and it got popular with the kids who got old ford Rangers and s10s for their first trucks.

The other thing that I don't understand are the NC guys with Nor*Cal stickers and SC guys with So*Cal stickers.

^^^ This! 100% true. Entire purpose of the higher front is for jumping/ desert racing/ clearing dunes with long travel. Suspension travel and limiting straps are key.

People that make their trucks to look like an old dog taking a shit, are just doing so because they are attempting to replicate a prerunner/desert race set up from someone with out the cash to extend the rear shock towers through the bed- just as @dan0mite said.

The ironic part is that the truck is also unsuitable for desert running. These people would get laughed at in SoCal too.

They are knuckleheads. Most SoCal guys do NOT have a "SoCal" sticker- which makes it even funnier! :D

I've never got the squat thing. I even had some on try to explain why his truck was set up that way and I still didn't get it. I guess I'm just a low life, always liked mini trucks and suspensions designed around travel and not over all lift height. Hell I helped a friend build a TJ on 60s and 37s that was an inch lower to the top of the cage then his wife's stock one on 31s.

but back to Tacoma's built a quick pallet bike rack for the bed to haul mine and my wife's bikes. Not bad for free.

Well sometime this week I'm thinking of going to the recruitment office and signing up for either navy or air force...I believe I'm making the right choice after talking with a few members on here

She's fine with it. I hope where I get deployed I can take them with me. I'm still thinking about it but I'm thinking it's the best for me and my family.
