I thought I heard or read that these bfg's were discontinued.?? They were rated pretty high as a snow tire.
I run Continental extreme contact "DWS" (dry, wet, snow) on my scat pack. They have a "DWS" imprinted
on each tire tread at different depths. "S" being the shallowest, the "W" then "D".
Its pretty cool....you can take a quick glance at the imprint and see if it is still good for each condition.

The thing is, the car is probably safer to drive with the traction control and it is sooooo much more comfortable, but
i'm going to be up home for a month or so while i'm on vacation and gonna take a bunch of shit with me.
Also, I dont really want to subject the car to the extreme salt on the roads.

I have the DEPO version of the headlights. I suggest running a bead of silicone around the border of where the front lens meets the rest of the housing assembly. Lots of guys have had trouble with these aftermarket headlights fogging up. I’ve had mine for 8 months with no problems after a generous application. It’s a bit tedious but definitely worth it

255/85 will be about the same size as your 285/75. I haven't run my 255/85 in the snow yet but I figured my Falken AT3Ws (265/75) would be better on the street in the snow than my BFG KM2 MTs (255/85). The Falkens are doing great, ran around in 2wd until I got off pavement up on the mountain to the farm.
