Just learned about a new-ish off road park in Jefferson called Broken Nut, but they appear to be at least temporarily closed. Not sure why.

 

River Rock ORV isn’t too far in GA and they’re opening back up. They have a New Years run this weekend.

 

Shit looks pretty serious.

 

My hometown was -14 this morning.

 

It's all about the layers.

 

I got a bitchin pair of long johns at Costco for 5 bucks the other day.

 

I didn't mind it, the season just lasted too long. Some years we had snow on the ground 6-7 months. Spring was soggy, dirty, and the black flies were overbearing. Summer was warm with lots of mosquitoes and you had 4-5 deerflies orbiting you. No one has central air, so it's pretty hot indoors. Fall was gorgeous, with the best temps, great hunting, just amazing...oh, but it lasted like a week.

 

I'm there now hence why I am still looking for a house with land in the upstate.

 

Secret service guys are super nice, took a stop at Trump tower.
