Allll day long. Looks like a good day to stay in bed.... and book a cruise.

 

Well, the rest of the week and weekend look nice.

 

I have to work Friday night, so hoping it’s cleared up some.

 

Y'all can have this stuff.. snow frustrates me.

Looks like Amees work is going to pay for us to stay in a hotel in Anderson overnight to ensure that she can make it to work first thing in the morning. Why a grocery store can't open a few hours late for the safety of it's employees, i don't know. Greedy ass corporate monkeys 3 states away making decisions...

 

Hope so. I’m not trying to get there and be forced to stay because there’s no one coming to replace me.

 

Cue my local friends mad about us not getting snow. I think they are a special kind of crazy!

 

Geez Louise I have to head up to Greenville on Friday for a sales meeting. Only time I like to drive in snow is when I'm headed to the mountains
for some snow boarding.

 

Depends on what I am landing on.

 

These same people are bitching about people who back in to park. I swear....glad I drink bottled water bc there is some kinda nonsense going around.

And I back in to MOST parking spots...away from others. Insanity!

 

I only bitch about people who pull through, especially on a diagonal parking spot or drive sideways across the parking lot. There are lines for a reason people...

 

I have a question for you local to me ppl (I am in Summerville). Are yall having weird odor or taste in your water? Like tap water.......

I am raising hell with Berk Water and know for a fact Summerville CPW knows there is an issue stemming from something in Moncks Corner. Berk denies ALL.

Help me out..........tell me if so and where you are......

 

What kind of taste/odor?

 

Smells moldy or mildewy mixed with dirt (I Shit you not)...........and tastes like a mudpie probably would taste. Some have said it is cloudy too (IDK). It is bad at my house, and I have also dealt with it at my parents in West Ashley and at some restaurants in goose creek and summerville. I noticed the start of it before Christmas, but we get that mess yearly. I figured it was the normal issues......seems to NOT be.

 

Could be just the water turning over in your area if your public works dept draws water from a reservoir/large body of water. Happens when the temperatures in the water change from hot to cold. Usually that increases the manganese levels in the water and gives the water a dirt taste. If that's the problem they should be filtering with carbon and it'll go away eventually. Happens to us twice a year.

I see them all the time because I work for my local water authority. Different areas have different tasting water. I would choose our tap water over bottled water. Coastal waters to me have a weird taste so I understand your complaint.

 

They said it would be a "light dusting of snow" on late CLT news last night...
