Funny you say that. I am cheap AF, so is hubs....and yes, we do our own plumbing if we CAN We have rebuilt bathrooms, punched out walls and even jacked up slab to do repairs

Oh..........and changed out hot water heaters as I cannot stand Berkeley Electric picking and choosing the high demand nonsense................

 

We deal with sewers backing up and crime scene/trauma clean up. Not daily, but enough I can share some nasty stories.........but I won't...........LOL!

Yeah...LOL! Most run like hell, the others stick it out and love the income! But, it is totally not for everyone :/

 

Those legs get put in some odd positions. Gave me a greater appreciation for pain afterwards.

 

Speaking of toilets though... my son was bad about flushing toys. I almost don't even want to talk that up. I have learned how to pull a toilet and reseal it thanks to youtube.

Again accurate. My MIL has farm land with her house but not the water rights to go along with it...so she can’t irrigate. She leases her land to the neighbor farmer who has water rights.

Matter of fact, I woke up when they were hammering the spiky part into my femur and made some asinine comment to the nurse about a carpenter before they put me back under.
