Nowadays we have to find pumps with non ethenol fuel and it costs as much as Premium and it's only 89. During the winter they got to a 15% mix. Even far up N they can't go more than 15% ethanol. If you want to go higher than that there is a lot of stuff to the fuel system and then to the ecu tuning you really have to do otherwise you run the risk of damaging the engine and destroying the fuel system.

You need to drive more put some miles on that thing. I run non ethanol as much as I can bear it. There are a lot of really technical reasons why but it would be like writing a dissertation paper!

Even after changing my plugs for the first time at about 89,000 miles i didn't get any noticable change in mileage. 200 or less is pretty drastic.. Even lifted with full armor I'm regularly getting 230-270

As many miles as you put on might as well run non-eth like a riding mower.

That’s why i posed the question to those that know more than me. The tune-up and plugs were the first thing like i said but didn’t know if there was anything else i could look for.

A MAF like @scottalot said also your O2 sensors could be reading off but are not setting a code I have seen that before (it's extremely rare). Injectors that are dirty and maybe sticking open a little. It's really hard to tell without going through diagnosing. There are also environmentals that can cause a drop in mileage, driving habits, changed where you get gas or the gas station is getting some crap fuel. On and on

Just saying idk if the plugs will help unless they are completely caked in crap or the wrong plugs.

or slap wore out with no electrode left. Oh and to that point a bad coil or coil boot not getting a strong enough spark or loosing spark to the plugs. And down the diagnosing over the net rabbit hole we go.

Do yourself a favor and grab an OBDii bluetooth reader, and Torque(android). Go ride around and get it up to temp and take some screen caps with 02s, fuel trims, etc. Then you can have something to work with and not just use anicdotel butt dyno diagnosing

So my suggestions without actually seeing the truck is to pull the MAF get some cleaner specififcally for electrical components or MAF sensors clean that. Pull all the coil packs and check the boots for trails from missfiring to the tubes. Then pull a few plugs and look at their condition. Start with these things.

Missfire traces this could also be on the outside of the boot. The plug shows a cracked ceramic.

It's still a baby get out and drive the damn thing! You do know that one of the things that comes with that ethanol fuel is extra H2O when it is burned thus needing to drive it more to burn it all out of your exhaust and engine. Short trip cars are worse than high mileage highway only cars.

Mine will be turning over 200k this yr. I bought it in Jan of last yr with 155k and now I have close to 190k
