When my lift came it was sign for delivery. I made sure to call them and tell them to hold it there and I would come pick it up since there was no way I would be home to sign for it. I really didn't feel like waiting any longer to open my box so I could put everything on the floor to sit until mod day. :help:

Eh, I guess I can at least open it and stare at it when it comes? My friend won't be able to do any kind of plasti dip stuff til next week now :( He was available today, ya know........if it HAD come to me that is.

Just getting it so you can take pictures is half the fun! The rest comes when you get to put it on.

Yeah, I wish I could get stuff like that here at work, but our shipping and receiving people are always losing stuff already.

For my stuff I don't have to sign for, I have the RING door bell thing. Love it! That being said, my hubs tried to argue with a delivery person who HAD to get his signature (he has not figured out to ship it here yet ??) about leaving it there anyway. It was kinda funny. I think I will take my rack and pose with it LOL Hahahahahahahaha

I am just glad it is ALMOST mine for real!

I'm fairly certain Microsoft Project is in fact the devil itself. There is no application I hate working with more than MSP. It makes me want to throw my laptop out the window :annoyed::smash:

My new MBP was delivered last night. Love getting new tech but hate the “personalization” I have to do to make it mine. At least Apple makes it easy with the migration assistant.

I think we need to collect old stuff and just go smash it up. I would so do it! Just like those places that let you throw the axe at the wall to relieve stress.....would do that too!

The issue is that this is a work provided laptop. And it's not the laptop itself that I hate. It's the stupid fucking software that you basically need To have a whole separate fucking college degree in on just that stupid piece of software to know how to use well.

Get yourself a copy of MS project and go to town. You'll hate every second of it the moment you open the program :bananadead:

It's about time for me to build a new rig. My oldest son needs something stronger for the more high end games he is starting to want to play so he'll get my current one. I wont drop any more than a grand on parts and it will be a mid to high end system. But it wont be a laptop, either. Just saying, there's options.

I used to tell the higher ups at DSS that they needed to seriously re evaluate their programs they used. The program was a piece of shit and we HAD to use it because they spent a TON of money on it. It was really really bad and had no support, and most of the support people could not help with issues. I finally told the county director that the person who wrote that shitshow was the smart one. Made all the money and left. I was soooooooooo in the wrong line of work :/
