There’s no point in filling it in if your just gonna cut more later imo.
I have the 02g and did some mods on it. It’s meh. Get a spyderco. I’ve got benchmades(garbage imo. Just overpriced kershaws) I’ve got some ZTs and a shit ton of CRKTs and spyderco is hands down my favorite. Hell the coast guard even issues us one. Get you a PM2 or PM3. I carry the PM2 and it’s sharp as a motherfucker. I’ll sharpen once every 6 months or so.

@JimboAnz did a mirror polish on the bevel and did some “tiger” groves in the micarta and pocket clip and treated the spine to make it hazy and darkFE2B6436-4A0E-4812-90C0-E36D298BB681.jpg71E4AC91-9DC1-400F-ABBA-B991E19CD7C8.jpg1D3C6B9F-2A6C-468B-8B94-D9BB74462632.jpgC4F1D1FD-CA37-4AF1-B9A1-1A1182F3CCE1.jpg

o_O Benchmade is an overpriced kershaw, you do realize that ZT is kershaw right that you can get a lot of the same blades from kershaw as you can ZT. You're paying for the steel and better fit and finish and a little more refinement with a ZT.

Do they issue you the salt series Spydercos? I have a couple of them and really like them.

Yeah I got the ZT because I went through a slight homosexual phase but that’s over now so no more ZT. No we get a pretty basic combination blade plastic handle. I think only issue them to us engineers. It’s unit issued. I keep a pm2 on me a pm2 in my ODUs and the issued spyderco in my PFD

Man you oughta get one from their salt series. That H1 steel they use hasn't given me a lick of trouble and I have dropped it in salt water many times and abuse the crap out of it. It does require more sharpening though only downside I have found.

My big hold up is I don’t do much line handling so fully serrated is almost pointless but in an emergency could be helpful
