I am mimicing after your story of not wheeling because of not having enough spares! BTW I have 4 stock sr5 wheels that I am going to be looking to put a cheap set of tall skinnies on for a spare set!

If I buy that kit or similar I'll probably need some tips on how to put it all together.

Aeroshell! and there are a ton of videos online how to as well as instructions. It's kind of dummy proof the hardest part is the trigger and bolt release roll pin. Get yourself a decent set of blocks for holding the recievers I recc. checking with brownells. Everyone makes an armorers tool so just pick your poison. If you want to splurge the geissele reaction rod makes it 10x easier for barreling an upper unless you buy one assembled.

Well I assumed there would be some sort of fee but now we aren't completely locked out of the deals that don't want to ship. It seems like those west coats guys change their stuff out a lot for whatever reason.

I put mine together in 30 mins. First time ever doing it. @scottalot post a good video on YouTube in the AR thread and I followed that for the lower and it was easy as pie. This is a sub $500 rifle and shoots like a dream.

I wish I could hold mine to that budget but for whatever reason I end up spending wayyyyy more my last build was 1500+ IIRC.

    What video was it?
