I wouldn't blame you I have a business degree so it only makes sense if your costs increase for you to raise prices to stay afloat.

Daaang plowing through it. Wish I could help your pricing out, I'm mostly in tooling steels, not structural. I think we're sending out about 30k lbs per week. The boom with the fracking and energy markets has kicked business into overdrive.

Love my knifes with s30v!!!! I am also liking some of these other newer powdered metal steels too. I really want to get a blade with the s35 and see what all the fuss is about it.

I send a bunch of 15v and 35v up to btown every month, there's a good sized shear house there. Most cpms are just very great at retention of sharpness, but can be really brittle. Great for skinning, bad for a general camp knife .

Got ya! yeah I have no clue I do know what I like and don't like I have a couple blades in really hard tool steel forget what alloy and it is hard as shit to get a really good edge on them and they chip out easily I like some ductility in my blades. I know there is always a give and take with the steels. I am going to be getting a consistent angle sharpener like the edge pro apex to sharpen my knives and maybe do a little side business with it.

I usually use a crkt blade thats at least .125" thick. They use a decent mild steel that can take an edge and be tough. Resharpening every month is annoying but I haven't broken it yet.. is sog listening?

Yep, bronze. I've been checking their site every now and then, and it was a big surprise they had them. I checked out so quick i didn't even think about lug nuts. But I'll do something different on those anyways.

No idea on tire yet. I need to get on that soon.

LOL I stopped using SOG because they use that CM13blahblah blah whatever steel that any walmart knife has. I use a lot of different brand knives none of which I really favor more than another but there is some quality differences in the higher end stuff I have. Have you used that H1 steel that spyderco uses in their salt series that can be a little bit of a bear to get back into shape I think because of how high the chromium content is. But damn that steel will not rust mine has taken a swim in salt water several times.

So with my truck and new trailer I'm at 25.700lbs. and if I get a Cummins 3500 I'll be at 28700lbs gvwr. DO I NEED A CDL FOR recreational hauling. With not for hire decal.

I can't find a answer. Interweb gives mixed reviews on fourms and such

Or I'd need one reguardless. Because the combo is over 26k

If you are over 26,100 lbs you will need CDL yes
You will need your class A because the trailer exceeds 10k lbs. Just keep the payload under 26k and youre good

So with a class B you can go over 26k but your trailer cannot go over 10k that is the kicker. You could build a rack on the truck to carry steel on to keep the trailer under that 10k
