Happened. TWICE!

 

Still don't get it we saw it all the time on the GMs with dual zone since there are 2 blend doors. But on a system with 1 blend door it makes no sense. I mean it's a huge long shot but still doesn't seem logical if there were a "hot" spot in the evap right where it splits to go to the pass side ducting.

 

Finally getting that gear oil turning! Better go change the f diff fld now since the gears have bee used and broken in a little.

 

Yea like I said only thing in Goose Creek is bowling. North woods mall there’s a movie theater.

 

3yrs old and what 3k miles

 

You reminded me I need to do like the 10th or so oil change on my truck since I've owned it Jan '17 and change the air and cabin air filter.

 

I am not an A/C tech either, I dunno. There are other threads here on TW about it... it happens to others.

As cheap as Toyota is they replaced everything, twice, in a 3 month or so period- because it blew cool on one side and hot on the other.

 

hitting a milestone with the truck needing all that maint. done.

Actually exactly what I just fixed with the wife's car.

 

Getting fiber hooked up on the 14th. Pretty stoked about that.

 

Nothing wrong with bowling! Slinging a heavy ass ball down a line and smashing stuff with it is always a good time.

 

Very strange out of the umteen thousands of A/C services I have done I have never seen this on a non dual zone system. I have been doing some digging and researching. Best guess is placement of evap core and how the air blows across it and then distributed to the vents the evap core is not cold all the way across it. Still makes no sense because it seems like such a stretch for this to happen. But anything is possible and constantly proves common sense and engineering wrong all the time.

 

So is your truck now over the hill and we need to throw it a black balloon b-day party!

 

Since I've moved the miles haven't been racking up like they use to but I'm about to roll 190k. Your's may not make it just because it's not getting enough exercise she needs to get out more and get the fluids pumping.
