Yep my sentiments. They have a natural gas grill by the pool and charcoal grills by each building just no one cleans them up after they use them otherwise I'd be.all over it. And the damn CO detectors would flip out if I broke out the camping stove to cook on.

Getting to start all over :)
Well stopped in Nashville tonight. Still have about 5 hr to go to get to my home town to see my family, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I needed beer and sleep and A/C lol. That 13hr day took it out of me for sure.

I can't in the buggy but I'm ok with going as far as the truck can and then getting out and being the film crew or pit crew!

Maybe when I build the truggy I won't be to far behind.

Define toy and distances to tow?

In my experience, 2500s are so much more stable with a decent load.

Agree on 2500 for doing work. I dont have anything to tow atm. If, when i do it will be an offroad toy. Maybe 5k - 6k load, idk. Primary reason is to max mpg for 30,000 miles per year for work. Towing is secondary.

For sure. The new 1/2 tons sure can sip that fuel. And do some work. But in reality, the tow numbers are tough to actually achieve. Payload runs out with proper tongue weight and a passenger or 2 plus gear way before you get close to the rated tow capacity.

Just making sure you've got realistic numbers in mind. My stripped down efficient Yota buggy is going to be low 3k (I'll call it 3500 ready to wheel). Anything full bodied is gonna be tough to be under 4k and easily higher the more armor and stuff gets added. My heavy duty do anything trailer is at or about 3k empty also.

I've heard so many stories of 1800-2000 lb trailers. But based on what I've seen, I'd be scared to put a couch on the way to the dump with most of those janky POSs. Unless you go full custom, plan on 2500 for a legit trailer that will handle the rated load and more at whatever speed you're comfortable towing.

Love my PowerWagon though :dancingbacon: She's had a number of hefty Yotas on the trailer behind her and been stable and confident as can be.
